Strategic planning and implementation will ensure your fleet’s transition to EVs is seamless. By going electric, you’ll:

  • Increase fleet productivity and efficiency
  • Decrease fuel costs
  • Slash operational and maintenance costs
  • Reduce your company’s carbon footprint
  • Enhance corporate image

EV charging stations also help you make an impact on our local economy since EVs run on fuel produced in Michigan, by Michiganders!

EV charging options for light-duty fleet vehicles are Level 2 and DC Fast Charger (DCFC).
Level 2 Charger
Level 2
  • Connect to a four-prong, 240-volt outlet, like the one that powers a clothes dryer
  • Charging can be hardwired, which requires a charging station with a conduit, instead of a plug
  • One hour of Level 2 charging provides about 10 to 30 miles of range, depending on the vehicle model
Level 2 Charger
DC Fast Charger (DCFC)
  • An EV must be fast-charging enabled for DCFC
  • Additional electrical infrastructure is required
  • One hour of DCFC charging provides about 150 to 210 miles of range, depending on the vehicle model and DCFC power level
