Tax Incentives and Financing
A simple, fair and flat six percent corporate income tax rate is among the lowest in the nation and has slashed business costs by 83 percent. Manufacturers realize even greater savings through the phase out and elimination of the state personal property tax.

Annually, the State of Michigan offers $150 million in incentives and assistance. An additional $100 million is available for small and midsize businesses. Michigan ranks third in the country in private sector lending to small businesses.
