Mark Cousino – President
Mark Cousino is president of DTE Energy’s (NYSE: DTE) Biomass Energy subsidiary. DTE Biomass Energy develops, owns and operates landfill and dairy biogas processing facilities throughout the United States. Cousino has held this position since 2007 and leads a team of approximately 75 employees and contractors who operate and support the company’s $200 million asset base of electric generation and renewable natural gas plants located across nine states.

Cousino joined DTE Energy in 1998 following the company’s acquisition of MCN Energy. Previous roles have included director of business development for DTE Energy Services, a DTE subsidiary that provides products and services for energy intensive industrial, commercial and institutional customers across North America. He oversaw the day-to-day operations of the company’s successful Section 29 synthetic fuel business unit. Prior to joining DTE, he was employed by Conoco Inc. for ten years where he held both domestic and overseas engineering, operations and business development positions.

He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering.
Kevin Dobson – Vice President, Business Development
Kevin Dobson is vice president of business development for DTE Biomass Energy, where he leads acquisition and greenfield development with responsibilities that include identifying prospects, evaluating economic and technical feasibility, proposal development, contract negotiations as well as scheduling and implementing activities. Prior to joining DTE Biomass Energy in 2007, he spent 10 years in corporate business development for Ford Motor Company.

Dobson received his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Finance, from Central Michigan University.
